Material that focuses on the human voice. It really is a study of the use of our vocal cavities in different social environments.
Dennis Cooper, currently of some fame as a cult writer, read a few of my poems for these recordings.
The music was recorded at CP 49b, Rotterdam. August/September 1987. All sounds are made by human voice.
Originally released by Midas Tapes. Re-release limited to 100 copies with standard MIDAS MUSIC tape cover.
By the end of 2007 Swedish artist Henning Lundkvist contacted me because he wanted to perform the soundwork live. That's when this remix and remaster was composed.'' |
